The Hertz Energy line has reached its fifth version, improving even further the technical features which marked its success: the result is an increased usability, versatility and efficiency! Ideal to upgrade factory OEM systems, the Energy loudspeakers provide powerful and hi-fidelity sound reproduction in whatever situations.
An accurate study of the woofers’ and coaxials’ profile with the purpose of optimizing the overall size led to more compact baskets and motor assemblies making sure the tweeter did not protrude past the height of the woofer’s surround. The Hertz team has also developed a new component, EV F165.5, a flat-profile woofer which requires only 51 mm (2 in.) of depth to be installed.
Each component is pure Energy.5. The woofers are equipped with a new cone featuring deeper surface ribbings, which increase rigidity and, together with the proprietary V-cone®, ensure perfectly symmetrical excursion of the membrane. In the new coaxials, the tweeter position angled a further 10° along with the RHFC (Rotary High Frequency Contour) technology provide the ability to control dispersion as well as getting close to the ideal frequency response, adjustable towards the listening position.
Energy.5 also boasts an extremely powerful and high performing mid-low range, EMV 100.5, able to reproduce a wide frequency range from 80 Hz to 7,5 kHz, thanks to reduced dimensions and depth.
With regards to the design, elements characterizing the previous line have been further refined, “mixing” them with those of the most recent Hertz products: the embossed areas of the previous cone are now more visible and emphasized; the dominant colour is black, which best matches the look of the modern car interior components. The Energy.5 line boasts an aggressive design, conveying a contemporary, refined feeling. |
